Through natural progression, the majority of our projects centre around medical research facilities and hospitals. These are obviously a lot more demanding that generic office fit-outs.
Cameleon Solutions are currently working on the contract for the full MEP services coordination and modelling for CHt on the Brighton 3T's project.
An exciting and complex project with many spatial challenges. As a number of
sub-contractors were not on board when we commenced the primary MEP services coordination, we took the decision to model all ceiling voids services to ensure full coordination was achievable. Upon completion of each floor the ventilation and sprinkler models were then handed over to the relevant
sub-contractor for them to take ownership of and to develop their works from. This proved a very efficient way of approaching the coordination and allowed us to meet and in many areas improve on our delivery dates.
The Francis Crick Institute
This was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects undertaken in London. From the initial advanced works phase in 2011 through to construction development and the final As Builts, we provided both MEP services coordination and the lead management of 7 individual CAD companies plus
sub-contractors CAD personnel to ensure timely delivery of this iconic facility. This was a hugely challenging project with multiple modelling platforms being used by throughout. The exchange, tracking and management of all models was our responsibility.
